Reservations:
Camp opens the first week in May, depending on ice out. Since your transportation and guide must be arranged for in advance, definite reservations made as far in advance as possible will assure your desirable dates. Be specific as to the number in your party and the length of your trip. Once in camp, extra days can be arranged to extend your stay if accommodations are available.

Your reservation can be taken over the phone at 1-800-348-FISH or in writing and accompanied with a NONREFUNDABLE deposit of 20% ($200.00 minimum) , per person in your party;  If it is necessary to cancel, the deposit will be applied to a later date in the same year. All prices are subject to tax. We accept your personal checks, and cash in U.S. or Canadian funds.


COMMUNICATIONS:
We have a Bell system radio phone at camp. AT&T credit cards or collect calls only. You can call out and receive calls at any time of the day or night. Mail is brought into camp usually on a daily basis. Cellular service is now available on several of the lakes we fish, so you may want to bring your cell phone.


WHAT TO BRING:
The only equipment you need is your fishing tackle and clothing. Bring heavy rain gear, waterproof boots and a thermos for coffee or tea. We have a well-stocked tackle shop with all the best baits for our lakes. Fishing licenses are also available at camp.

ACCESSIBILITY:
Northern Lite Camp on Sphene Lake is now accessible by boating or flying in. Our own covered boat can pick up your party of 6 or less in Fort Frances. Boating up Rainy Lake is a 45 minute ride to our landing, and another 15 minute truck ride to camp.

Flying into camp from Fort Frances via Rusty Myers Flying Service takes about 20 minutes. Please arrive at Rusty Myers airbase 30 minutes prior to takeoff. Price not included in our prices but their price list is on our Prices page

If you are arriving at International Falls by plane we will arrange for a limo service to take you across the border. Limo fares are not included in our prices but are inexpensive. Be sure to let your driver know if you wish to stop at the Duty Free for beer, liquor, soda, or water.

CROSSING THE BORDER:
Passports are required, but bring your driver's license and birth certificate as well, and if driving, your auto registration card. I.D. for children is required, birth certificates will do.

LIQUOR, SODA, AND WATER:
 No liquor or beer is sold at camp, so be sure to bring what you want. Stop at the Duty Free in International Falls before crossing the border, they have beer, liquor, soda and water.
